Hamilton County Extension

Extension Office located at 504 North Hamilton Street.

Hamilton County Extension Service is an important part of our community.  The Extension Agents work with the Hamilton County 4-H youth program.  The agents also offer many educational programs and activites throughout the year.  The services offered through the Extension Programs vary from agriculture, home and garden, personal finance and many other topics and questions that arise in our community.  Community Development is also an important issue that our agents help with.

The extension agents are responsible for obtaining grants that pay for free lunches on Fridays during the school year for those under the age of 18.  They also provide free lunches to those under 18, Monday through Friday during the summer months.   We are really proud of this program and it has been well recieved. ( Meals are only $5 if you are over 18)
